New domain marketplace added - OneofaKind.com

Just added Domain Consultant ’s new marketplace - OneofaKind.com to the domaining mindmap.

Although it is a new marketplace, it already has some premium domains listed, including HappyBirthday.com, DiamondRings.com and SchoolLoans.com. The site is run by DomainConsultant which is a first rate domain brokerage and consulting group. Some of their past domain sales include Contents.com ($380K), Voodoo.com ($300K) and Loco.com ($55K).

XHeaderPro header designer

Just added XHeaderPro to the mindmap. This is a neat software package which allows users to create professional looking graphics headers with no real design skills. It’s being released today, but I liked it enough to purchase an advance copy yesterday and have been using it to ‘fix’ up some of my mini sites. The package includes 5000 templates and gives users the ability to add advanced features without using a program like Photoshop. Although this package is geared towards webmasters, it can be particularly useful to domain developers creating minisites or bloggers interested in customizing many of the free Wordpress themes which are available.

IDN Drop Lists

Just added IDNTool’s drop list service to the mindmap. I haven’t tried this service out yet, but the cost seems reasonable ($20/month) and the site claims that they are the only publicly available droplist for IDNs. The service can be found under the following section….

The site is now online and accessible to all. Wanted to thank all of the beta testers for your help over the past few weeks as I couldn’t have done it without you all!

Here’s what’s new…

Just announced the site to my newsletter subscribers and Twitter followers and will be blogging about it today. If this is your first time visiting, I suggest taking a quick look at this page to get some tips on how to best use the mindmap.

I’ll be adding to the mindmap each day, so if you would like to receive notice of the latest updates you can subscribe to this feed or follow me on Twitter here and here . Also the site is now in open beta mode so if you have any problems, please let me know here .
